ELIGIBLES TO THIS YEARS FUTURITY. List of Two-Year-Olds from Which Will Como tli3 Contenders for the Rich Race. , New York, August 22. Nominations remaining eligible for the Futurity, one of tin; most important races on the American turf, have been announced by officials of the Westchester Racing Association. This rich race will be run at Belmont Park on Saturday, September 2. The Futurity has been by far the richest stake to be raced for in recent years. It is estimated that, the gross value will be nearly 5,000. The entries include nearly all of the best two-year-olds which have been racing around the metropolitan circuit this year, and also a number which have not been seen under colors. The conditions of the race call for two-year-olds, by subscription of 0 each, or only 0 if the money is sent with the entry, for mares covered in 1913, and a further subscription of 0 each for the produce of such mares unless struck out by November. 1, 1915, or S100 unless struck out by Julv 15. 1910. Each starter to pay 250 additional, all of which shall go to tho second and third horses. Tho association adds ,000, of which ,750 goes to the breeders of the first three horses. The nominators of the winner and the second and third horses namely, the nominators of the mares will receive SI. 000, 00 and 50 of the added money, respectively, whether they are the owners of the horses when the race takes place or not. The race is to b? over the three-quarters straight course. Last, year it was won by Harry Payne Whitneys Thunderer. There wen? sixteen starters, mid the value was 0,590.
