BULSE, AT LEXINGTON, TO BE RETIRED. Lexington. Ky., August 22. W. J. Young arrived at tin; Kentucky Association track thir morning from Saratoga with eleven horses, inclnding Bulse, Leo Rav. The Grader, Water Witch. Midway, Rosewood, Nettie Walcutt and Waterford. The first-named three are on the shelf and will probably not be raced again this year. Bulse and Leo Ray are receiving treatment for bowed tendons and The Grader is developing a ringbone. H. Perkins, owner of Dr. Larrick and Bob Hens-ley, wired for five stalls, and six stalls were requested for the Keystone Stable. Howard Oots, who is to sail for England September 2, today advised superintendent Ross that he will send here a portion of the string he has in Canada. Racing Secretary W. II. Shelley returned to Lexington today and will open his office at the Kentucky Association course tomorrow. Roger Sullivan, who is to assist him in the office,- will be here next week. W. F. Schulte will have four horses here from Louisville in charge of W. H. Buckner, who until last spring trained for W. G. Yanke. Starter Harry Morrissey will begin schooling two-year-olds to the barrier nest Saturday.
