CHANGES IN DORVAL PARK OFFICIALS. Montreal, Que.. September 7. There will be a change in some or the officials for the autumn meeting of the Dorval Jockey Club, opening September 13. Francis Nelson, who for the past few seasons has been presiding judge, will be one of the stewards in nlace of James Milton, who officiated last spring. "Mr. Nelsons place as presiding judge will be filled by Herman P. Conkling of New York, while A. It. Dade will do the starting. Everything is now in readiness for the opening of the meeting, which promises to lie one of the most successful since the inception of the club three years ago. The plant never looked better, while the numerous improvements made to it will offer greater accommodation for the public and horsemen. The clubhouse, which was given over to the governors of the Notre Dame hospital last spring, will be reserved this season for members and guests. The horsemen, who are now racing at Blue Bonnets, have all made application for stabling at Dorval and for the first time in several seasons the colors of Joseph E. Seagram will be seen there. The following is a full list of the officials, the majority of whom have officiated throughout the Canadian circuit: Honorary stewards, Dr. L. K. Lemieux and Major John T. McBride; stewards, Francis Nelson and W. F. Presgrave; presiding judge. Herman P. Conkling; associate judge, Frank Calder; starter, A. 15. Dade; paddock judge and timer, W. L.
