CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. The Frederick Johnson horses will be shipped to Laurel from Belmont Park. The Macombor stable, in charge of trainer Walter B. Jennings, left New York for Louisville Saturday. The stables of Emil Herz and James Fitzsimmons liave been shipped from Belmont Park to Havre lie Grace. A division of the H. P. Whitney stable, in charge of Albert Simons, will go to Havre du Grace Sunday. W. If. Laudeman, having recovered from his illness of last month, is at his post as supervisor of the pari-mutuels in Kentucky. Six steeplechasers belonging to J. Temple Gwath-mey have arrived at Belmont Park for the hunt meetings that are to follow the Belmont Park meeting. The stables of John Whalen. E. II. Garrison, L. Feustel. It. T. Wilson, the Cleveland Stable and J. O. Talbott will go to Havre de Grace at the close of racing at Belmont Park. A special train will leave Belmont Park Sunday afternoon for Havre de Grace conveying the horses of Andrew Miller. II. II. Hewitt, the P.everwyck Stable, James Butler and H. C. Hallenbeck. The stables of James MaeManus, S. L. Parsons, II. K. Knapp, Glen Kiddle Farms and G. M. Odom will go to Havre de Grace Monday night and the stable of August Belmont will be shipped to the eame track on Tuesday. The severe windstorm of Thursday demolished the betting ring in process of construction at Devonshire Park, the newest track at Windsor. The Betback may interfere with the plans of the club for opening the inaugural meeting on September 23. Jockey C. Tudor, who rode Mars Cassidy to victory at Lexington AVednesday, graduated from the maiden ranks with the. first mount of his career. He has been gallopiug horses for G. K. Anderson, but Wednesday was the first time lie had ever ridden in a race. Jerry Carroll says he will take only a part of the imported Knglish yearlings belonging to Mr. Cop down to the Maryland circuit. Among those to go -will be Jack Mount, Black Eagle, Hells Bells and among the American breds Jacoba. Bet and Hauberk will figure prominently, but Oration, Polvmelian, "Wonderful and Tarquiu will be permitted to remain at Belmont Park and slowly prepare for the season of 191.
