KLEIN was ridden hard for the entire race, gained steadily after rounding into the stretch and disposed of MISS KRUTER in the last sixteenth. MISS KRUTER raced well up for the entire race and took the lead in the stretch, but tired. CHARMEUSE acted badly at; the post, but ran well and held on gamely in tin; final drive. MORRISTOWN raced into the leail and tired in the last eighth. BLANCH1TA showed speed, but quit in the stretch. The winner, entered for 00, was hid up to 05 and bought in. Overweights Aaca, 3 pounds.
