CASCO began slowly, but closed a big gap and, finishing with a rush on the outside, won going away. LADY MILDRED also made up ground and outgamed LOST FORTUNE for second place. LOST FORTUNE tired after closing a gap into a close up second. PERPETUAL ran well. DASH and BROOM CORN finished close up. MINSTREL and MISS GAYLE quit after making the pace to the stretch. CADILLAC saved ground on the stretcli turn, where the leaders tamo wide, and finished gamely. WAUKEAG was gaining at the end after being forced wide when entering the homestretch.
