SEA AATAAE began slowly, but finished with a rush and would have won in another stride. POLLY J. raced forwardly, but tired in the final eighth and just outstayed BLACK EAGLE. AFFINITY was shut oft at the start and taken up. BLACK EAGLE finished fast. SUSAN B. ran a good race and easily outstaved the tiring GOLDEN ArALE through the last quarter. GOLDEN AALE showed the most early speed, but tired and quit in the l:?st mile. CYNOSURE quit badly. FENMOUSE moved up rapidly when entering the homestretch and outstayed J. J. LILLIS. The latter set a fast early pace, but tired badly in the last eighth. CAPRA was eased up when she tired.
