The latter was all out to beat Ke-wossa by a half length for second place. William Shields, who trains Top o th Morning, Kent another winner to the post during the afternoon when Celto came from behind to beat the dds-on favorite, J. J. Lillis, by a scant half length in the fiftli race. Andrew Millers well-bred colt Battle Abbey beat a big baud of maidens in the first race, coining from behind to finish with splendid gameness and won going away from the pacemaker. Flare. A ruling was posted in the secretarys office denying steeplechase jockey Harvey Boyle the right to accept any more mounts at the meeting.
