THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. In the course of the last two weeks of racing jockey J. MoTnggart has not done well and, with only four additional winning mounts to his credit in that time, only led F. Robinson by the slender margin of one more winning mount at the close of Saturdays racing. Possibly if the leader had not been under suspension the last three days of last week, he would not be so closely pressed. Since going to the Eastern tracks, Robinson has been riding with as much skill and vigor as he did in Canada and is now accepted there as a real star of the saddle. His chance to be this years leader is obvious. E. Pool has increased his score rapidly at Reno and is now a good third. E. Tap-lin is now close to the century mark in winning mounts and should -attain it this week. Butwell has been riding well recently and thereby has added materially to his list of successes.
