FAVORITE DAY AT KENIL WORTH. Windsor, Out., October 18. Backers of favorites had a good start at Kenilworth Park today, when the first three public choices scored. The track showed improvement, better time being made than on any previous day this week. Four claims were put in for Leoheldia, the winner of the first race. The claimants were C. N. Freeman and P. M. Civill. In the drawing Mr. Civill was the lucky one and got the filly for 50. There was a fair midweek attendance, close to 4,000 making the journey to the track. The weather was cold and overcoats and furs were comfortable. F. J. Pons was an arrival from Laurel today.
