THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. In riding seven winners last week, while J. MeTaggart was only successful on two, F. Robinson further intrenched himself in the leadership of our riders of this year. If he continues to ride through November and December it is almost a certainty that lie will maintain his present eminence in his profession. When it is considered that it was so late in the racing season as July 16, before he gained admission to the list of thirty leading jockeys, it is not difficult to perceive that his riding since then lias bordered on the phenomenal. If increasing weight does not prevent, he may have a highly distinguished career in the saddle before him. 1. Connelly only rode one winner last week, but that was his hundreth and so of moment to him and his record. The leader of the week was M. Buxton with his excellent score of ten winning mounts. F.
