GLOAMING followed the pacemaker closely to the stretch turn, then finished fast and got up to win in the last stride. TING-A-LING was taken back and messed about, but finished in resolute fashion and wearing the winner down. ETRUSCAN was much used in forcing the pace and tired in the stretch drive.
