aUID NUNC WINS IN A GAME FINISH. San Diego, Cal., November 22. Quid Nunc won the feature race here today by a narrow margin from Quick. Pickens allowed Roscas to run himself into exhaustion and then came on with a rush. At the finish he just lasted long enough to beat cleo! Roesch was a heavily backed horse and had little trouble in defeating Strathearn in the third. The judges handed down a series of fines today for boys who have become rough in some of their riding. Taplin and Moore were plastered Avith 5 each for their over-anxiety on Saturday, Avliile Pool received a similar fine for his ride on Buss Sand Sunday. T. Nolan Avas reinstated, but for the time being Avill only he allowed to ride for the stable of E. Kane. Ue lias been down since the opening day.
