NOTES OF THE TURF IN OTHER LANDS. Gamier, the Belgian steeplechase horseman, will ride as second jockey to flymans Epsom stable during the winter. C. Hawkins is first jockey. Six races out of the seven run for at Berlin, Grunewald, on October 22, were won by the offsprings of stallions bred in. the United Kingdom, while the dam of the only German-bred successful sire, Fels, was the famous Festa fsister to Desmond. The other winning sires weraGaltee More, Pekin, Sundridge, St. Briavels, Lyeaon and Trout-beck.
