! SYBIL DEFEATS FAST ONES AT JUAREZ. O Tis True Wins at Last Belle Bird a Cantering Winner Jockey Henry Suspended. Juarez. Mex., December 21. Sybil ran right back to her recent trio of good races. In the handicap for two-year-olds at the Juarez track this afternoon. In fact the McLcmore filly probably ran the best race she has yet shown here. She followed the pacemaker Waremore, the mutuels favorite, and then when the latter tired and dropped out of competition, withstood a pressing challenge from Sir Richard, winning by a half length. The leading trio appeared to be too fast for Pluto, although the latter finished fast. O Tis True, the second choice, beat Cunair, the favorite, in the second race, a five-eighths selling dash. Huttons gelding was kept close up behind Cunair to the paddock gate where the favorite tired perceptibly and O "Tis True passed into the lead for an easy victory. Belle Bird was far the best of the sprinters in the opening race, her second to Joe Blairs fast victory on Monday apparently having put a fine edge to her speed. She raced into an early lead and won in hollow style from Vested Rights which passed Tempy Duncan and Moller after both of the latter had tired from chasing Belle- Bird. Jockey T. nenry was set down for five days by the stewards for rough riding on Deckhand. Kitty Cheatman, the property of O. G. Parke and a candidate for the Texas Futurity, arrived here today. Belle Bird was bid up from 00 to 425 by IC. Spence and sold to him. With Bermudian scratched out of the fourth race. Bobolink was made favorite, but Montreal, from the stable of S. Meadow, proved a winner after he had wore Rhodes down in a drive through the stretch.
