The latter was cut off and finished fast vhen clear. WALL STREET could never get up. SARGON II. closed a big gap. QUIN showed early speed, but tired. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. PIERROT closed up with a rush "through the last sixteenth and finished gamely. GOLDEN LIST was well up in the early running, but tired near the end. ENCORE set a fast early pace, but quit as if short. BROOKFIELD showed speed, but tired. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. NAPIER was kicked by LUKE AAN ZANDT while going to the post and, after running a half mile, pulled up with a broken leg and was destroyed. The winner was entered for 1916.sh00; no bid. REGULAR dropped back right .after the start, but moved up gradually and, taking the lead in the last sixteenth, was tiring at the finish. OLD CHARTER set the pace and raced SCORPII into defeat, then dropped back, but came again near the end. DAINGERFIELD ran a good race. SCORPII tired badly. Scratched 30719 Page White, 105.
