NEW TEXAN BREEDER BEGINNING WELL. W. II. Askey. Sisterdale. Texas, has just purchased from O. G. Iarke of Kyle. Texas, the good young stallion Suffragist. 1807, by Voter — Noon !;:v. by Domino, next dam Sundown lain of Peep oDay and Nightfall, dam of the best two-year-old of IMC, Campfirel. by Springfield. Suffragist is beautifully bred and was a good race horse, winning a aaaaher of races, running a mile in 1:30%, tin e-qaartera in 1:12%. Mr. Aakey will pick up a few well bred mates and with such a horse at the head of his stud BS Sui" r.ogist. his entrance among the ranks of breeders and owners should be immediately successful. This is Mr. Askeys first experience as an owner of thoroughbreds, although his father and grandfather both trained ami raced barifl with much success years ago, and he, when u boy, did considerable lidiug.
