MILE HANDICAP TO EXECUTOR. Defeats the Favorite Dolina by a Nose — Candidates for ?5,C03 Coffroth Handicap on Edge. Tijuana. Alex.. February 19.- Racing this afternoon at the track across the border was over an extremely heavy course. The feature of the days program was the La Paa Selling Handicap, at one mile, and iu a drive of an eighth of a mile. Executor got up to trim Dolina by a nose. The pair raced in front all the way with Dolina slightly ahead of Executor. It looked as though the mare would win turning into the stretch, but she tired and B Bowed Executor to catch her in the last stride. The consistent Jawbone finished third. Rubicon II. won the third race after getting away well. Dot H. ran a fair rice to win the second, while Jack K. had little trouble accounting for the too year old raee. Jockey E. Smith has been restored to good standing by the stewards. The boy was set down for a bad race ruu by Manganese, but the horse has run just as bad since and the judges have exonerated the ri.hr ia consequence. Nearly all the candidates for the 8B.088 Coffroth Handicap at one mile and a quarter, to be run on Thursday, were given their final works today. The track will be heavy for the stake, but made to order for the probable favorite, Slippery Elm.
