SOME DISTINGUISHED EQUINE ARRIVALS. Colonel William S. Barnes Body to Be Buried at Lexington This Afternoon. Lexington, Ky.. March 2.— The first foal by Duke McLuke- is n big robust brown colt, dam Winni-e-ook by Montana, which arrived this morning at Ke-ene-land Farm and nickered twenty minutes afte-r be was foaled. The- youngster is the joint property of J. O. and ;. H. Kee-ne and John W. Schorr. Mr. Schc rr bappeaed to be in the city when the- colt came ami braved a snow storm to see him. "By golly." said the veteran turfman." thats going to make a gre.t horse I bet." Schorr left this evening feir Memphis and will go to Hot Springs next wee-k. Two of the mares recently brought from Kng-taad by J. O. Keeae dropped foal- yesterday. Black Brocade has a bay filly by Catmint and Lady Oanntle-t a brown colt by Alpha ID The body of William S. Parne-s. distinguished bree-d-r and tnrfin.in and former m,i-ti-r of Melbourne stud, who died Wednesday at Bail— a. Florida, arrived in I.e-xington this e-vening and will be interred tomorrow afternoon.
