THORNCLIFFE STABLES KINGS PLATERS. Britannia and Impress Are Candidates for Race at Woodbine Track. The Thorncliffe Stable of Messrs. Davies have- two i candidates for the Kings Plate- this year. Ifrituu-nia and Impr-ss. both three-year-old fillies. Impress by Detective — St. Cecelia ID. dm- to an in -jury, never -darted last season, although in the spring she displayed the aaast speed of any of the stables youngsters. She i- going soundly again. Kritannia has a record of four straight wins. She , is by liannockhurn. a horse that has sireil many crack long-distanc-e performers. This filly has developed wonderfully since being retireel and is the . best looking horse at the farm. She also went I wrong la-t summe-r. but has recovered, and is now again going -mindly. The other three year-oils are- Incog. Graphic and I Boater l.ily. all of which were ooii-i-tent and fre-iiuent winners on the Canadian tracks last season. Five two -year-olds embrace the string, four of which arc- Canadian -breels.
