Kay Spenees gelding ran in close pursuit of the leader to the stretch and. ■when called on. jockey . Hunt easily outrode A. Alexandra on Dolina. Col. Marchmont loomed tip dangerously in the early running, but quit badly when called on in the stretch. The rough riding tactics of jockey Durlingaine in the third race brought about the disoualification of Presumption. The bitter had raced close up from tie- start, but repeatedly bumped and nearly brought Basel Dale to her knees in the stretch, for which lie- was diaqaaUf ied and placed second. Hazel Dale was awarded first money. Privet Dotal finished third. Kate Bright showed that she is a smart filly with an impn---ivo victory in the- two-year-old race today. She- was away poorly, but ran around her opponents and won going away. Phyllis Antoinette had little tie able in winning the second race. Presumption was claimed out of the third rata by .1.
