JAMES BOWES HORSES ARE DOING WELL. k New York, April 4. — James Rowe made a trip to I the city today from Red Dank, N. J. "All my horses are doing fine." said he in answer to the usual question. "The weather has been delightful in the neighborhood of Drookdale Farm, consequently the horses have been doing outdoor work for many a month. I havent the slightest idea what horse or horses will go in the Kentucky Derby. Rickety has not grown, but looks the same little horse he did at Saratoga. If he were sound lie would be a good horse, but lie lias to be trained carefully. He never has been trained as a race horse should be trained. Pennant is doing well and will race again. All my horses are going along satisfactorily. Frank Keogh will in all probability ride Manister Toi in the Derby. Keogh is exer-cUing the Widener horses at Belmont Park."
