DEVONSHIRE PARK PROGRAM IS OUT. Books for Western Racing Association Meeting Shows Good Sized Purses. Montreal, Que., April 20.— The program books for the spriic 1 ting of the Western Racing Association, which operates Devonshire Park at Windsor, W«rc sent out to the various racing centers today. The book shows the distribution of 888,888 for the meeting of seven days, or an average distribution each day of 18.169. This is more than the majority of the tracks in Canada are giving this season and should make the meeting one of the most attractive for horses next summer. There will be two races each day of a value of 00, three at 00, one at and a handicap with an added value of ,HK. Word has been received from Hot Springs that two special trains of horse cars will leave this week for Windsor, where the track is now ready for gaBops. There are races for all classes of horses, bachadhsg Canadian -bred. The officials for the meeting will be practically the same as at the second meeting last autumn. The dates for the second meeting will be announced later. Secretary Thomas J. Duggan. who has been laid up for a few days, is around again and has assumed his duties at the head office of the club in Montreal.
