SWEPT MARGCKR1TK took the lead at once and was taken under restraint on the last turn, then responded gamely when challenged and outstayed LOW DEGREE in the final drive. The latter moved up rapidlv at the eighth post, but tired in the final strides. CKLTIVA ran well throughout. LITTLE SWEEPER finished gamely. DALROSE was forced to race wide all the way. RESIGN, after being a prominent contender from the start, passed NONESUCH in the homestretch and drew into a clear lead, but tireil and just lasted long enough to withstand KKBOS challenge. The latter began slewlj and met with early Interference, but finished with a rush when clear and would have won in another Stride. NONESUCH set a fast earlv pace, hung on gamely, and outstayed ROYAL-1ST. The latter raced wide all the vwiy and finished close up. LADY LONDON ran well to the streteh and tired in the final drive. JUDGE WINGFIELD was on the outside of the leaders for the entire race and finished gamely.
