CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. The attendance at Havre de Grace Saturday was the largest of the meeting. It took sixty-four cars to convey the crowd from Washington. Baltimore and Philadelphia, while many made the trip from New York city. Death has recently claimed among the horses the eight year-old Real Worth, by Kenilworth — St. Phillipina: the nine -year old Delmas. by Lake Ward — Colita, and the five-year-old mare Celebrity, bj Celt — Sister Anna. Trainer Kurttschell is pointing Fruit Cake for the Preakn -ss. to be run at Pimlico next month. This is a race of a mile and an eighth, and it will put the add test on her ability to maintain her speed for useful distances. Edward Trotter, who lias nine horses in training at Havre de Jraee, will make his usual summer campaign on the Canadian tracks. He still holds the contract on jockey F. Robinson, which crack rider be developed, having only disposed of first call for the summer season to Harry Payne Whitney. In the meantime Trotter will utilize the services of jockey L. Mink. The victory of Cardross in the Barton Court Steeplechase at the Colwall Park meeting, and the subsequent declaration by the stewards that the race was void, has ended in Capt. H. E. de Traf-ford. the owner and Major Beatty, the trainer, eHoh being fined .r by the stewards of the National Hunt Committee. The race was only oiien to horses who had not won a steeplechase before the time of closing, but Cardross, the only horse who completed the course, had a previous victory to his credit.
