WISE ran well, but tired in the tinal sixteenth. OLD HOMESTEAD saved ground on all turns, but could never get up. The winner, entered for 00. was hid up to .10.1 and bought in. BIRD MAN rushed into the lead quickly and. setting a good pace, won with speed in reserve. LITTLE NEPHEW was the closest contender from the start and made a game effort in the homestretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. MARGERY lacked early speed, but finished with a belated rush through the homestretch. SABLE ran well, but swerved badly in the final eighth. ROYAL TEA raced wide, but finished fast. BRIG OF WAR -displayed keen speed for the first quarter, but tired finally under punishment. MIDNICHT SIN saved ground on the turns and finished gamely. BUNNY HILL finished fast.
