MATIN BE IDOL led under slight restraint until rounding the turn, then drew clear immediately when put under punishment and won with speed in reserve. ASHTORETH began slowly, but displayed excellent ■peed for three-eighths and tired in the last eighth. BUNNY HILL was under pressure all the way and finished gamely.
