RKVELER, after racing in close pursuit of the leaders, slipped through next to the rail when entering the homestretch and drew away decisively in the last eighth. JUNE RUG set a fast pace, but tired when challenged and just lasted long enough to withstand LADY EILEENS challenge. The latter gained steadily all the way and finished fast. ILMA SCHORR was a forward contender throughout, but tired. ANNCHEN hud no mishaps. BALLAST quit in the homestretch. ROEDERER and EDITH F closed gaps. BARRY SHANNON raced in close pursuit of the leader and took the lead with a rush at the eighth post, but tired in the final sixteenth. WOODTRAP set a fast early pace, but tired -when thu final drive came. TRIPLE CROWN was outpaced and needs racing. CAVAN BOY raced in closest pursuit and moved up menacingly in the homestretch, but tired slightly in the closing strides, PARTIZAN was forced to nice wide all the way, but responded gamely to punishment and was gaining at the finish. APPROVAL was well up in the early running and ran a creditable race. AZTEC closed up gamely at the eighth post, biit tired. WYOMING began slowly and finished with a rush through the homestretch.
