ANOTHER ACQUISITION FROM ENGLAND Henry Porter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Purchases Entire . Elham Stud of Eighteen Mares and Seven Foals. Lexington, Ky., September 3. Henry A. Porter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, president of the Tulsa Securities Company, came to Lexington today and by cablegram closed a deal for the purchase of the entire Elham Stud of English thoroughbred mares and foals, the number being eighteen mares and seven foals. The Elham Stud is located at Elham, Kent, England. The mares and their foals are to come over at the first opportunity and they are to be quartered at Harry Morrisseys Kempland Farm. It is not Mr. Porters intention to engage in racing. He expects to devote his attention to the breeding side of it exclusively and is doing tills as a form of diversion from his vast business interests in the Oklahoma oil fields. He knows horses and is foritl of them. The seven foals are all by Darley Dale, son of St. Simon Ismay by Isonomy, The mares are bred this year to Darley Dale, Sunflower- II., ami Neil low. The purchase price was not made known, but it is said that more than 0,000 is involved in the transaction. The following is" si list-of the mares and foals.
