IRIS T. ran well and finished fast and gamely. BREEZY was unlucky and in tight quarters, but outgamed SEMCENA for third place. The latter tired at the end after setting the early pace. DENTAL followed MEDFORD BOY until at the half-mile post, where she took the lead and kept it, but had to be hard ridden to withstand the rush of BOB DUNDON. The latter finished fast on the outside and almost got up to win. MISS WATERS was a forward contender throughout and hung on gamely. MEDFORD BOY set a good pace and finished close up. ROY ran well.
