CAMP TAYLOR ADJOINS DOUGLAS PARK Many of the officers from the United States army cantonement at Camp Taylor, are frequent visitors at Douglas Park, watching the thoroughbreds , in their trials. The maneuver grounds of Camp Taylor run right to the outer edge of Douglas Park. This camp will house 41,880 men after September 15. Most of the army officers, who have served for "years, are ardent admirers of the thoroughbred, because of its known value from an army remount stand- point.
