The disappointment of the race was the poor showing of .lames Sutlers erstwhile good sprinter High Noon. The Spinner is lame and will not race again this year." EMIL HERZ TO SELL HIS HORSES. Emit Herz will sell all his horses at auction during the Aqueduct meeting excepting Manister Toi, tnd lie will go if the bid is high enough. Kd Bradley is giving his horse Black Toney a special preparation for the champion Stakes, to be run at Latonia. Owing to the slinmess of the card today, the speculators were betting they called the races first and second in finishing order in several of the dashes. S. C. Hildreths Sercnest. winner of the opening dash, was bid up from ,200 to ,200 by Walter learce, but was bought in by the stable for the customary advance. W. J. Chinn, were arrivals from Lexington during the day. . Richard Barrett and Lew Frellmer were arrivals from Detroit, having motored from that western , city. Peg o My Heart gave the backers of Curragha-leen . moments of suspense until after the last jump , was cleared. The gray mare is a safe jumper and also speedy. Herbert Temple, who has conducted the horse shipping from Saratoga, says there are still about I three carloads there ready to come to Belmont Park. He expects they will arrive tomorrow. John F. Schorr, with all the horses belonging to , E. R. McLean, shipped direct from Saratoga to Laurel. They will be rested until the meeting opens on the Maryland Fair Grounds track. Horsemen complain that the conditions of some of the races are the cause of the light fields at Belmont Park, owing to their making many horses ineligible.
