ARRIVALS FROM SARATOGA Four Cars of Horses Reach Kentucky Association Course. All Ship in Good Condition, Although on the Road Forty Hours. ; Lexington, Ky., September 5. After forty .hours on the road, four cars of horses arrived at the Kentucky Association course this morning from Saratoga. They represent the stables of W. II. Baker, W. J. Young, J. O. Keene,. Ross and Looney and E. T. Colton. They shipped in good condition and the attendants had no kicks to register. In the Baker string are Dovedale, Sleeth, James Foster, Tex Forman, Dr. Blair, Dr. Nickell, Dr. Shafer, Green Jones, Flash of Steel, Lady Rotha, Cheer Leader, Cleek and Mary Belle. Hundley Baker arrived last night and was present when his horses were unloaded. J. O.. Keene, who is motoring through from the Spa, is expected here tomorrow. In his car were Moscowa, Yermila, Yermack, Petrovna, Pulaski, Zamora, Pas do Chance, Simomi, Glastol and Amalette. The last named two are English two-year-olds. W. J. Young remained in the east to saddle Escoba for the Futurity next Saturday, but he sent home Midway, Valor, Parrish, Waterblue, Chesterfield, March Wind, Paramount and Florence Stevenson. J. W. Parrish, the owner of Midway, was at tho track this afternoon to see his colt, as wag, J, 3. McGeough of Spring Station, the owner of. Parrish. The Grader, Butcher Boy and Belle Mere, owned by Ross and Looney, came in charge of trainer George Laud. E. T. Colton brought Pan Zareta, Hanovla, Spring Song, and Plaudito. In one of the cars were a couple more of A. K. Macombers distinguished cripples, Star Hawk and War Star, to be turned out at Beaumont Farm. . The stable of J. S. Ward, in charge of James Davis, arrived from Louisville. In .the ptring are Franklin, Fuzzy AVuzzy, Boniface, . Fox Ridge, Rookwood, Little Buzz and Great Gull. He has other horses .at St. Louis in charge of W. V. Walsh and they will come here. Jockey Eddie Martin and wife, who motored from Saratoga, says the report that T. C. McDowell sold Plum for 0,000 is not correct. He did not sell Plum at all. Jockeys N. Barrett and D. Connelly are also here. Jack Weaver arrived from Cincinnati, but brought no horses. The track this morning was lightning fast, but not a great many horses got more than mild exercise. Marion Goosby and Sleeper worked a mile in 1:4-1 "Js" Sun God in 1:44, and Opportunity in 1:44 . Viva America worked three-quarters in
