CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Insurance John A. Payne, Cincinnati. Advt. Squeeze Em, a Canadian-owned thoroughbred, was pitted against George La Londe, a marathon runner, at the final day of tlie Cornwall Fair at Cornwall, Out., last Saturday. The man was allowed a half a lap. The horse won by about fifty yards, the distance being half a mile. At Palermo Argentina tlie Prehiio Cerise and White of 4,000 pesos, a five and a half furlongs race for two-year-old fillies, was recently won by the Caa Studs Saint Agnes. She is by Polar Star grandson of Galopln Stray Saint, which, being by St. Angelo, is a granddaughter of Galopln, and she started a good favorite.
