RANCHER A CONSISTENT WINNER The good handicap horse Rancher has been u consistent winner for G. M. Heudrie during the four years the son of Galveston has been in action. During the time Rancher has won twenty races of the net value of 5,958. Ills best year was in 1915, when, as a three-year-old, he was successful in seveu out of fourteen starts, the net value or which amounted to ,355. As a four-year-old Rancher won as many races as the preceding year, seven, but the net value of these races was slightly smaller, the amount being ,220. During the racing of the present year Rancher finished first five times, second four and third once out of fourteen starts. His net earnings for the year amounted to ,805. It must be remembered "that RanchiH- was always called on to meet the best of the handicap division and right worthily did he acquit himself no matter how strong the opposition.
