Won easily; second and third driving. THE DUKE seemingly favored by the soft track, was hnrd held for the first five-eighths and drew out in the stretch to win as his rider pleased. FELICIDAD showed the most early speed, but gave way when .challenged. BRIGHOUSE was prominent all the way and held on gamely in the stretch drive. DANCER had no mishaps. AAARS.iW raced forwardly most of the way and finished, gamely. WOODAVARI suffered from some interference on the first turn and fell far back, but, under hard riding, came fast in the stretch. BELL BOY ran a good face after overcoming interference. HARRY SHAAV raced well to the stretch aud tired. The others were never prominent. BLACK BROOM suffered from interference, but dropped back in the stretch. REQUIKAM quit in the last quarter.
