PRANK NOLANS SEVERWYCK STABLE EARNINGS FOB, PRES- ENT YEAR CONSIDERABLY IN EXCESS OF 1916 4 Fizer and Old Koenig are chiefly responsible for earnings of 13,907 credited to F. J. Nolans Bever-wyck Stable during the year of 1917. Fizer led in the money getting with a total of 4,210, as against 3,915 for the Golden Maxim colt. In addition to leading the stable in the amount of money won, Fizer lias the distinction of winning the Belmont Park Autumn Handicap, run over the Belmont Park course. September 1. In this race, which was decided over a muddy course, the Transvaal colt handily disposed of Chiclet, George Smith, Hank ODay and Daddys Choice. Fizer also was a starter in the St. Charles Hotel Handicap, New Orleans; the St. Leger Handicap at Churchill Downs and the Municipal Handicap at Belmont Park. In the first two named races he finished second and in the latter a close third to Clematis II. and Buckboard. Stake winning honors in the Beverwyek Stable were shared between Fizer and Ima Frank. The Abe Frank Tex Anna Ally had the distinction of winning the Autumn Highweight Handicap, decided over the Belmont Park course, September 5. The race, which was worth 1.410 to the winner, was at three-quarters of n mile, and she finished ahead of Hank ODay, Hwfa, Rhine Maiden and High Noon in the fast time of 1:11. Sixteen to One and Lady Longfellow, two-year-olds, helped swell the total of the Beverwyek Stable winnings with, respectively, 1,004 and 1,005 to tieir credit. Nine horses carried the Nolan colors during the year and five others in the string were not sent to the post. The winnings of the Beverwyek Stable in 1815 totaled 7,100.
