GILLIGAN set the early pace and outstayed .ORIENTAL GIRL in the closing strides. The latter moved up with a rush on the stretch turn, but was forced to come wide, which cost her second place. COURIER came with a rush through the stretch. KING OF THE WIND had a rough race, but was going fast in the last eighth. LADY OAYETY ran prominently for the first half mile. IRIS T. ran a bad race. BLUEBANNOCK was hard ridden most of the way and held on gamely, but was lucky to be second. SIR. OLIVER moved up with a rush in the stretch and, better ridden, would have landed in second place. PIN MONEY raced forwardly. INQUIETA raced into the lead and quit- in the stretch. MR. MACK was far back throughout. EXECUTOR had to race wide for the first three-quarters and lost ground on the stretch turn, but finished fast and almost got up. LADY AAORTIIING-TON closed a big gap and was going fastest at the end. REGRESO tired in the last -eighth. LITTLE COTTAGE quit in the last quarter. DUKE OF SHELBY closed up some ground. FREDA JOHNSON set the early pace, but quit after going three-quarters.
