HUBBUB IS DISQUALIFIED -♦ Penalized for Swerving All Over Track in the Closing Race. ♦ King Baggot Gut Down and Is Destroyed — Close and Interesting Racing. ♦ — ■ Havre de Grace. Mil.. April 19. — Racing of the kind that appeals to real lovers of the thoroughbred sport featured the fourth day of tin- Havre de Grace meeting. Notwithstanding the absence of any special attraction, the syort was of the highest class and the finishes in a majority of the races were of the thrilling sensational order. The running of the fifth race resulted in a fatality. King Baggot. the favorite, being jumped on and cut down so tartly soon after the start, that he had to be destroyed. Scarpia II. was returned the winner, but only after a bard and bitter struggle with Dervish, which had set the pace from the start. The first disqualification of the meeting came as the result of Hubbub swerving out all through the homestretch in the closing nice of the afternoon. Firing Line furnished a surprise in this race, when he scored at long odds. Judge Wiugficld. the favor ite. getting second place as a result of the disqualification of Hubbub, which finished second.
