April 19.--Algernon Daingerfield has just issued a report on the Breeding Bureau of the Jockey Club, setting forth its accomplishments since it yvas created in VMtK. It shows that, while it has been in iqieration ninety-nine stallions have been placed in the state and these stallions ha.e been mated with 7.0i;i mares and 3.3-"4 fo.ils have lseii reported. "It is necessary to st:!tc." says the rc[iort. "that these numbers are decidedly all underestimate, for the reason that the office of the Breeding Bureau has found it absolutely impossible to obtain complete reports of foals. "In 1912. due to the extensive exportations of thoroughbred studs the Breeding Bureau found It next to impossible to find suitable stallions and but one new horse was placed in the stud. "With the revival of racing, even on a modest scale, twelve new stallions have been acquired and placed and among the Breeding Bureau stallions of today may lie found asAaudsome and g «nl s|icci- I mens of the thoroughbred worse as in any country."
