JOSEFINA ZARATE took the lead at once and set a fast early pace, but tired in the last eighth. JINK BUG came through fast on the inside aud finished wearing the winner down. LOUISE V. began slowly and was forced to work her way up on the outside, then tired after racing into second place. AlKlE. SAXDALE and tMATILLA showed speed, but tired as if short. DERVISH set a fast pace, but filially tired under punishment. ORDERLY began slowlv and finished fast. KILTS propped at Hie start aud was as good as left.
