WELL-KNOWN TURFMAN PASSES AWAY Louisville. Ky.. April I.l. — William Fred Schulte. widely known turfman, former president of the New Ijouixvillc Jockey Club and at one time president of the American Turf Congress, died at his home here today after a long illness. Mr. Schulte during his career owned the thoroughbreds eliding p,v and Gliding Belle, which later produced Dodge and Berlin. Air. Schulte was 00 years old.
