COE HAS SOME PROMISING JUMPERS Are Being Prepared for Rich Cross -Country Offerings of the Maryland Jockey Club. Baltimore. Mil., April IS. — The new jumpers of the stable of W. R. Coe. which Jerry Carroll has brought to Iimlico to Im- trained for the Green Spring Valley Steeplechase and otlo r cross-country racos of the Maryland Jockey Clubs spring program, are Oration. Jack Mount and Yenuak. Oration and Jack Mount are in the Umi Spring Valley with Bet and the promising four-year olds Town Hall ami Gold Bond, the pair that finished one-two in last falls renewal of the Elkridge Steeplechase. Oration is an aptly -named son of Cicero and I mbrosa, and Jack Mount is s son of Amadis and Catana. . William Garth and the other cross-country e|H-rts at Iinilico are committed to Cold Bond, which has improved noticeably over winter and seems ready for the colors, but they also predict that Jack Mount and Oration will show up well. Carroll probably will rely on Gold Bond and Brt in the Green Spring Valley, but it is fairly certain that Jack Mount and Oration will Im- seen under colors at Iimlico. Jack Mount has something of a reputation as a flat runner. At Belmont Park, a year ago last fall, he ran with high-class two-year-olds and won.
