YOUNG HORSES AT BELMONT PARK All Appear Forward in Condition and Behave Like Veterans at the Barrier. New York. May 3. — Quite a few good two-year-olds are beginning to show at Belmont Bark, and while none of them have lM-en worked further than three-eighths, at top speed, they are well prepared for faster work. Neither are they all in the stables of the most formidable owners, but scattered alM.iir in some of the smaller ones, indicating there will k* plenty of contention when tin- bugle sounds for saddling in two weeks time. What is remarkable about the younger horses of this year, they have taken to the barrier work in a much more intelligent way than usual. Nine-tenths of them seem like old and well -iteha veil horses.
