W. 0. SCULLY DIES. IN NEW YORK New York. May 3.— William Owens Scully, well-known horseman, died yesterday at the Long Island hospital after a long illness due to general breakdown and complication of troubles. William Scully was one of the characters of the turf and has owned several good horses during his career. Pins and Needles and Kehourii being two of the liest. It was Mr. Scully who proposed the Scully rule by which horses of |wor quality were barred from further participation in races after winning a race with Scully conditions attached.
