FINE OUTLOOK FOR TIMONIUM MEETING Attractive Programs and Great Quantity of Racing Material Assure Successful Season SeasonPaltimore Paltimore Md August 29 The Maryland State Fair and Agricultural Society of Baltimore County will inaugurate its fiveday meeting at Timonium next Monday Tuesday will be an off day but the sport will be resumed Wednesday and continue for the remainder of the week weekMany Many stables have been quartered at the track for some time past while others are arriving from southern Maryland and the rapidity with which the stalls are filling up forecasts an excellent season of sport sportTlie Tlie program for the meeting arranged by Kacing Secretary Herman P Conkling is an ex ¬ cellent one and is composed chiefly of races over a good distance of ground In the five days racing only three of tlie races are at fiveeighths of a mile the others being at threequarters or over overOn On the opening day Monday there will be two contests at a mile and a sixteenth while as many are listed on Wednesday Thursday the third day there will l e two at a mile and a sixteenth and one at a mile and a quarter On Friday the feature will be a mile and a half race for fouryearolds and over that have started in steeplechases in 1917 or 191S 191SOn On the same card is a Rice at a mile and a quarter and two at a mile and a sixteenth On tlie closing day Saturday there will be three Rices at a mile and a sixteenth No purse will be less than 300 and on each day there will be a 400 race in which the better class of horses at the Itnltimore County track will be seen under colors There will be seven races daily dailyThe The Timonium management is making every ef ¬ fort to take care of as many horses as possible but already applications for stabling outnumber stalls
