w TANF0RAN TRACK MADE BUILDING LOTS Through foreclosure proceedings by the Hibernia Hank of San Francisco against the California Jockev Club, Tanforan Park has changed hands, the consideration being nlout .r0,000. It will now be subdivided into house lots and put on the market. Tanforan Park was one of the fastest and best equipped tracks on the Pacific Coast and was the scene of some of the liest race meetings in the west. The grandstand, barns and paddocks were handsome and commodious. The track was laid out by Prince Poniatowski, and afterward came into the possession of Tlios. H. Williams, who at one time controlled three large race tracks about the hny the California Jockey Club track in Emeryville, the. track at Ingleside and the track at Tanforan.
