NO RACING AT "HAVANA YESTERDAY Oriental Park Closed in Tribute to Memory of Col. Theodore Roosovclt, Idol of All Cubans. HAVANA, Cuba. January 7. Owing to the death of Col. Theodore Roosevelt, former President of the United States, it was decided to susjiend racing at the Oriental Park course today. Colonel Roosevelt was the idol of the residents of Cuba, and the management of the Cuba -American Joekey Club met and paid tribute to his memory by closing for the day. The feeling of sorrow at the death of the former President, so well known and beloved in Cuba, was general throughout the island republic. A new set of entries for the races on Wednesday was subscribed to by the owners.
