OLD TIME TURF OFFICIAL DIES IN WEST DENVER, Colo., January 30. S. T. Walton, for many years secretary of the Washington Jockey Club, which conducted race meetings at the old Benning track, died Monday at Colorado Springs. Mr. Walton was widely known in eastern turf circles a decade or bo ago.
