30 DAYS TO BUY KENTUCKY TRACKS Agreement Signed Which Virtually Completes Deal for Douglas Park and Latonia Courses: CINCINNATI. O., January 30. The sale of the Douglas Park and Latonia race tracks was virtually completed here last night. According to an agreement signed by C. A. Tilles. John Hachmeister and Harvey Myers, representing the stockholders of the tracks, and Senator Thomas A. Combs and judge Allie W. Young, on Kdialf of the syndicate of Kentucky breeders, the prospective purchasers have thirty days in whicli to perfect their organization and make the necessary payments. If they fail to take over the tracks within the specified time, the agreement is null and void and the tracks will remain in the possession of their present owners. Johnson N. Camden, Edward Sims and E. R. Bradley, the principal backers of the syndicate to purchase the tracks, were-not. present; but Senator Combs is confident that the deal will go through, although he would make no statement as to the next move. Neither would manager Haehmeister say anything further to intimate that the deal was practically closed.
